It’s Complicated – Weekly Updates on Wattpad

IC was initially my secret YA book but it’s no longer so secret. I’m going to do something slightly different and post one of my works in progress, It’s Complicated, up on Wattpad on a weekly basis.

I don’t know where this is going. I feel like I’m at a crosswords when it comes to my writing, particularly when it comes to writing young adult. It seems almost fitting that I’m returning to Wattpad where I had first posted my stories in 2012 for public consumption.

I’m going to be blunt. 2016 might be my last year writing YA. It’s my last week of school and I don’t know if that plays a part in my decision. I love YA but I want to focus more on scriptwriting and other ventures I’ve got going on this summer which I’m really looking forward to.

What does it mean for my incomplete series? The plan is to wrap up the Four Letters and Delphian series by year-end. Then after that, who knows where my writing will take me.

But I’ll be sure to keep you posted 🙂

Since you’re already here, why don’t you check out the synopsis for It’s Complicated below. And be sure to read the first chapter on Wattpad!

Synopsis
On her 18th birthday, Diem Martin decides to gift herself with some permanent ink. What she wasn’t expecting was for her sexy tattoo artist, Jules, to make her heart go pitter-patter. Especially since Jules is a girl.

Things are further complicated when Diem gets paired up with the broody Wesley Price for a school project. Forget the fact that the pair used to be best friends; they now treat each other like the plague after one fateful night that landed her cousin in jail.

When feelings start to resurface after spending quality one-on-one sessions with Wes, will Diem choose to rekindle a broken heart, or will she take that leap of faith with a newfound love?

Whoever said relationships were complicated sure wasn’t kidding.
